SILICONE STRETCH TAPE
This product is made with glass tape, completely and evenly coated with dielectric grade silicone rubber. The tape is self adhering, only sticks to itself, and it's adhesion improves with age and heat. It has excellent weathering, oil and chemical resistance, as well as superb surface quality. The product possesses good dielectric strength (typical 450V per mm at temperatures to 450 ° F ( 232 ° C )) and resists the effects of corona. Recommended for electric and industrial application including motor rewinds and repair, cable and harness wrapping, electronic assemblies, cable and connection insulation, roll wrapping for release purposes. Also, recommended for high temperatures (class H) electrical insulation and slicing up to 400 ° F ( 204 ° C ). The product is available in 0.002" thickness to meet with MIL - C22444C for electrical insulation tape and cable splicing in naval shipboard applications.
