Heatshrink Kits

Our popular screened adaptor and feed-through heat shrink kits have been updated
to incorporate a new range of heat shrinkable boots made from a high performance polymer with the added advantage of pre-installed conductive adhesive.

The new boots have been specifically developed to accommodate a high degree of cable size tolerance whilst improving levels of mechanical strain relief, electrical DC resistance and chemical and temperature performance.

The new Polamco parts offer a superior design because:
  • The unreliable silver epoxy joint to the adaptor is replaced by a magnaformed ring
  • The thin electroplated layer is replaced by a high performance tinned copper braid
  • Increased widths of adhesives used to terminate to the cable braid and jacket increase reliability and decrease craft sensitivity
  • Higher performance materials including the conductive hot metal tape ensure higher electrical performance
  • Simple installation by virtue of the tube construction
