Nomex High Temperature Sleeving

Breyden Products High Temperature Sleeving series is manufactured from 100% continuous filament Nomex fibres. The result is an extremely flexible, abrasion resistant material, capable of withstanding high temperature exposure. This material has a continuous operating temperature of 500 ° F (260 ° C) and will not melt. In addition, the sleeving is unaffected by most acids (some strength is lost after exposure to hydrochloric, nitric and sulphuric acids). This sleeving is available in natural (off white), olive drab and sage green.

Braid Fixings

• Pre-expanded braided sleeving with heat shrinkable termination for fast installation and permanent fixation to wires, cables and hoses

Braid Protection

• Non-metallic braided sleeving cut to length with heat sealed ends. Supplied on spools, coils or mini-reels
• Layflat heat shrinkable foil sleeve for maintaining EMC continuity in wire harnessing and cable systems.
• FEP/aluminium laminated tubing for extreme temperatures and foil/copper mesh tapes.
• Tinned copper braid with 90% or 93% coverage. Nickel coated version available for high temperature applications.
• Supplied flat or on a former.
• Screening device for termination and splices
• Heat reflective tubing constructed from glass fibre matt/aluminums foil laminate bonded with a high temperature resin and a range of anodised convoluted tubing

Splices

• Butt splices with heat shrinkable insulation which seals the wire conductors after crimping
