Polamco would like to thank all those who visited us during what proved to be an excellent and very busy Electronica exhibition in Munich. As usual, we had many of our new product developments on hand, with our team of technical sales and engineering design specialists to assist with the many detailed applications requests.

Of particular international interest was our new range of expanded beam D38999 derived fibre-optic connectors. Although one of our most recent product launches, this family of lightweight but extremely robust and reliable fibre-optic connectors has already been specified on a number of leading Defence and Aerospace programmes, where the particular combination of D38999 derived performance features and expanded beam technology are proving themselves to be a perfect match for some of the most demanding applications.

A group of 20 Polamco employees and customers enjoyed a great evenings racing at Thruxton karting centre this week. Despite a few near misses and some very questionable driving, we all managed to make it to the pub in one piece! Tony Simcock took the trophy with an impressive best lap time of 50.958, very closely followed by Stuart Goddard and Mike Salmon. Tony also clocked up the best top speed at a huge 63.6mph in the specialist karts capable of 70mph! Polamco sadly weren’t so successful with our top prize going to James Cowap for his interesting race exit in which he hit a tyre wall and managed to pop off his steering wheel in the process! James had to endure the walk of shame back to the reception whilst his kart had to be pushed back to the centre. Better luck next time James!
Polamco would like to thank all our customers who attended for a great evening!
